HP has launched Pro 8 in India, an Android-powered tablet with voice calling feature made for business focus consumers and government employees. It has a durable body that can get well along with daily ups and downs, and it is claimed by HP to be conditioned for use in a harsh environment.
The tablet can withstand temperatures ranging from -10ºC to 50ºC and is readable in direct sunlight, thanks to its bright 500 nit display. The HP Pro 8 is built with Indian customers in mind as it comes with supports of 11 India regional languages, these includes Bengali, Hindi, Odia, Tamil, Punjabi, Gujarati, and Marathi, with English not left behind.

Specwise, the device features an 8-inch WXGA (1280×800) IPS display with 16:10 aspect ratio and 10-point multitouch supports. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT8735 chipset clocked at 1.3GHz, slammed with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. The tablet has a 16GB inbuilt storage that is expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD card.
The Pro 8 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. As already mentioned, it offers voice calling via a single Micro SIM slot provided, with supports of 4G LTE. In optics, it sports a rear-facing 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, while it harbors a 2-megapixel camera at the front. It comes loaded with a 1.2W speaker and dual microphones. Other connectivity included are Bluetooth 4.0 LE, WiFi, and GPS. It is backed by a 6000mAh battery.
Painted in Black color, the HP Pro 8 is tagged with an MRP price of Rs 19,374 ($291) and MOP price of Rs 18,942 ($284).
