Samsung in late March announced its first 2017 flagship smartphones Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ for global markets both of which arrived with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, today, the company has officially released a much higher variant of Galaxy S8+ in Korea, flaunting 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage.
The Galaxy S8+ with the model number SM-G955N as called, has identical specifications with the standard version besides the changes in RAM and storage capacity. Samsung however is limiting some preferences on the device. While the 4GB RAM versions comes in five different colors (Marple Gold, Arctic Silver, Moonlight Black, Orchid Grey, Coral Blue), Samsung is offering the 6GB RAM+128GB storage version in Midnight Black color only.

In addition, as revealed [translated] by the company, the 6GB RAM version is powered by Samsung-own octa-core Exynos 8895 chipset and may not be getting Snapdragon 835. We do not consider this as a hinderance or interference as the Exynos version of Galaxy S8 is proven to outperformed the Snapdragon version, by little.
In pricing, the Galaxy S8+ 6GB RAM version is 19.5% costlier than 4GB RAM version. Samsung is offering the phone at KRW 1,155,000 which translates to $1,016 USD, that is an additional $166 when compare with $850 USD price tag of 4GB RAM version. It is available for pre-orders at all retail stores across the region and will start shipping from 18th of April. Free Samsung DeX desktop dock will be given to those who pre-orders before it go on sale.
