LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus

A new Android tablet made by LG today surfaced on T-Mobile website in the United States. Dubbed G Pad X2 8.0 Plus, the tablet is listed on the said U.S carrier along with its specs while details on its pricing and availability are not revealed.

According to specs detailed, the G Pad X2 8.0 Plus features an 8-inch capacitive multi-touch display flaunting a brilliant WUXGA (1920×1200) pixel resolution. It is powered by an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz (probably Snapdragon 430), paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. A MicroSD slot is included to further expand the limited storage up to 2TB.

The tablet runs Android 7.0 Nougat and has a single SIM slot that can accept a nano SIM card. In optics, it sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear-facing camera without LED flash, while another 5-megapixel camera is pinned to the front for selfie. Connectivity options included with the device are WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 + A2DP, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, and GPS. Unfortunately, there is no mention on its battery capacity.

The firm is also offering an additional accessory in form of a kickstand that has a extendable battery dock baked-in with a magnetic PIN that can be attach to the back of the tablet, allowing users to place the tablet in a sitting position for great comfort when watching movies. The dock has a built-in battery that can increase the usage time of the tablet when connected. It can also serve as a powerbank, thanks to an USB port included.

We expect missed specs and details about the G Pad X2 8.0 Plus to erupt in the coming days. We’ll keep you informed.
