Acer has made new additions to its Chrome laptop portfolio at The Bett Show event that took place in London earlier today. The company at the event unwrapped three new products namely, Chromebook Spin 11, Chromebook 11 C732, and a portable Chrome desktop; Chromebox CXI3. All the device comes pre-installed with Google Play Store for direct access to thousands of games and applications.

The Chromebook Spin 11 and Chromebook 11 C732 has identical specs, both features 11.6-inch touchscreen display with HD (1366×768) resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. The display of the Spin 11, however, can be rotated up to 360-degree to use in various modes depending on a given environment, while the display of Chromebook C732 can only be rotated up to 180-degree. Also, the former supports Wacom stylus while the later does not. The stylus will be available separately.

Acer is giving users multiple options to choose from when it comes to speed and multitasking. The basic version is powered a dual-core Intel Celeron N3350; the standard version a quad-core Intel Celeron N3450; while the high-end version is powered by a quad-core Intel Pentium N4200, all coupled with Intel HD Graphics. RAM and storage are offered in 4GB /16GB (Chromebook 11 C732 only), 4GB/32GB and 8GB/64GB configuration depending on users preference. The storage can be expanded via a MicroSD slot provided.

Connectivity included are 2x USB 3.1 Type-C ports, 2x USB 3.1 ports, Bluetooth 4.2, and WiFi 802.11ac (2×2 MIMO).

Acer Chromebox CXI3

The Chromebox CXI3 packs an 8th Gen Intel Apollo-Lake processor that is unspecified. It comes with range of connectivity options including HDMI, Ethernet, USB 3.1 Type-C, and WiFi 802.11ac (2×2 MIMO). Its full specifications, pricing and availability were not revealed.


Acer Chromebook Spin 11 -> starts at $349 (for U.S) or €347 (for EMEA regions).
Acer Chromebook 11 C732 -> starts at $279 for non-touch model and $299 for touchscreen model (for U.S).

The laptops will go on sale in March in the U.S and from there will roll out to EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) regions in April.
