The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Essay Competition 

The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Essay Competition is among the list of Institute’s program targeted at building the research and creative abilities of Nigerian undergraduate students and test their Innovative mindset.

Additionally, CIPM Essay Competition challenges their thoughts as young minds and how they can come up with powerful, effective and creative plans to better the society.

Importantly, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) is the regulatory body for Human Resource Management Practice in Nigeria. They primarily ensure the continuous and progressive development of all their members and stakeholders for enhancing human capital and promoting development.

This year, the 2020 Essay Competition Topic is:

PEOPLE RISK MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES IN AN ERA OF CRISIS

CIPM Essay Review

This section contains information about the CIPM essay competition, eligibility for applicants and deadline.

The host country is Nigeria and it’s strictly for Nigeria Undergraduate Students who are Nigerians. Depending on performance, the rewards span from cash to study materials of N125,000 to N75,000. However, entries ought be summited before September 11, 2020.

The CIPM Essay Competition Format

 Please read this section carefully and make no mistake as it entails what your essay format must look like.

The summited essay must meet local and international writing standard with not more than 3000 words.

Attached reference should be in APA style.

The required font is Times New Roman, 12 point font size. 

Essay must be in double spacing; strictly MS Word only and not copied. This is because all Plagiarised content will result in disqualification of the offender’s entry.

The CIPM Essay Reward

The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria Undergraduate Essay Competition reward varies according to performance.

For the 1st Place, the winner receives a cash price of ₦125,000 & 2 HRM books.

Next is the second 2nd Place, the winner receives a cash price of ₦100,000 & 2 HRM books.

Lastly, for the 3rd Place, the winner receives a cash price of ₦75,000 & 2 HRM books.

Regarding Non-Members, they will have the opportunity to enjoy free registration as Student Members of the Institute. Lastly, all winners will have a free entry to the 2020 Annual Nation Conference.

The CIPM Screening Requirements

Alongside your copy of the CIPM essay competition entry, your requested to provide the below as well.

  • An I.D Card from your current institution
  • A Copy of your admission letter to your current institution
  • One new passport sized photograph
  • Working mobile telephone number and e-mail address
