The Taiwanese tech giant HTC, has launched a new mid-end smartphone under its “Desire” series, the Desire 510. According to the company, the phone is the cheapest in the desire series to support 4G LTE connectivity. As of now, pricing and availability details has not been revealed.
The Desire 510 features a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels, it offers single SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box overlay with the company’s Sense 6 UI.
The new HTC Desire smartphone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 401 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, alongside with 1GB of RAM. It comes with an 8GB built-in storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD.

The smartphone sports a 5-megapixel rear camera, and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. Connectivity options included with the Desire 510 are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi with Hotspot, 3G, GPS, 4G LTE, GLONASS, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2100mAh battery rated to deliver up to 646 hours of standby time on 3G.
In June, HTC launch the Desire 516 which support dual SIM functionality but runs the dated Android 4.2 Jelly bean.
