HTC New Budget Phone Leaks With 64-bit SoC, Android 5.0 And Sense 7 UI

As MWC is getting nearer, rumours are getting higher and there has been increase in leaks being unravel, one of which is a HTC branded smartphone, the A55. The phone was leaked by Upleaks and its specifications worth talking about. Some predicts it might be the One M9 in disguise but we doubt so.

A55 is a codename, the actual name the phone will carries is not yet known but it may fall under the “Desire” range or may be One M9 Mini, its hard to guess. As revealed by Upleaks folks, the HTC A55 will features a 5.5-inch WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display and packs a 64-bit 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor coupled with 3GB RAM.

It will comes with a 32GB built-in storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card. A 20-megapixel autofocus camera will be at the rear while a 13-megapixel or an ultra-pixel camera at the front for selfie. The most interesting part is the HTC A55 is listed to be running Android 5.0 Lollipop topped with the firm latest Sense 7.0 UI.

It will packs nothing greater than 3000mAh battery as mentioned and we expect 4G LTE to also be onboard. The HTC A55 is also said to comes in two variants, a single SIM version and a dual-SIM version. The first for EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) market and the later for Asia market. Last week, HTC D826W was leaked, it was spotted passing through TENAA for certification in China. Specifications revealed include 5.5-inch full-HD display, 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage, and Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Nothing is clear as of now, and there’s no word from the firm to confirm the existence of the phones. HTC has got us hoping, that can as well be part of the plans, we just wish MWC is here.
