Huawei brings Magical Sensation to China ahead of Christmas with Honor Magic

Honor, a sub-brand of Huawei company today has announced a new flagship smartphone at an event held in China earlier today called Magic. The phone is wrapped in a sleek metal unibody that is just 7.8mm thick, having an overall weightness of 145 grams. It comes with various features that is sure to enhance productivity and user experience in daily lives.

The first notable feature is FaceCode Intelligent Recognition, a privacy measure that allows new message notifications to be shown only to the phone owner. This uses the front infra-red camera to scan pre-registered faces using facial recognition to identify the owner and then deliver the message. The Magic also comes with what Honor called WiseScreen Sensor Magic, with this, the phone can sense when it is picked up and auto activate by turning the screen on, it also scan the face of the holder to confirm if it is the owner before unlocking. It can sense when placed down or put into pocket as well, thereby turning itself off.

The Huawei Magic sports a multifunctional fingerprint sensor beneath the home button that can be use to lock/unlock, navigate around the phone, and return to homescreen. Everything about this phone is magical, even its fast charging feature—dubbed Magic Power, which let users charge the battery up to 70% within 20 minutes and 90% within 30 minutes. It house dual 12MP cameras at the rear just like Honor 8 and supports dual SIM.
