iBall has launched a new Android tablet with voice-calling capability in India called Slide Brace-X1 4G, the successor of Brace X1 3G that was released by the firm in early last year. It has a 10.1-inch WXGA (1280×800) IPS display with 16:10 aspect ratio and multi-touch support, and is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, alongside with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. There is a 16GB of built-in storage onboard that can be expanded up to 64GB via MicroSD card.

It has a dedicated SIM slot with support of 4G LTE and VoLTE. Although it lacked an earpiece, users can make and receive phone calls on the device via its dual-chambered speakers or headphones. The Slide Brace-X1 4G is equipped with an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, while it houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front. Other connectivity options included apart from 4G VoLTE are Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 3G, 2G, GPS, FM radio, and USB OTG.

It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes pre-installed with Microsoft Office apps such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. It is backed by a 7800mAh battery.

Painted in Bronze Gold colour, the Slide Brace-X1 4G is priced at Rs 17,499 ($262). It will be available at online and offline stores across India in coming days.
