Karbonn has announced a new low-cost smartphone in India, the Alfa A120. The phone will be available starting from Monday at Rs 4,590 ($74 USD).

The Alfa A120 packs a huge 3000mAh battery which according to the Karbonn can deliver up to 18 hours of talk time, the most notable feature of the device. It comes with a 4’5-inch IPS display touting a resolution of 854×480 pixels. The Alfa A120 support dual-SIM with dual-standby and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor (unknown chipset) slammed with 512MB of RAM. There is a 4GB of internal storage onboard which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card. 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash hold the upper rear area while a 0.3-megapixel camera take hold of the front for video chatting.

Connectivity options included with Karbonn Alfa A120 are Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB.
