LG has introduced the fourth edition of its G Pad tablet series in South Korea called G Pad IV 8.0, successor of last year G Pad III 8.0. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and has an 8-inch capacitive multi-touch display, flaunting a WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution with 16:10 aspect ratio.

Underneath the display panel is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor with 1.4GHz clock speed, paired with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. There is a 32GB of inbuilt storage onboard that can be expanded up to 2TB via MicroSD card.

The G Pad IV 8.0 sports dual 5-megapixel cameras, one placed at the rear with autofocus and the other at the front for selfie. In connectivity, it supports WiFi 802.11ac (dual band), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. LG is claiming the tablet as one of the lightest, measuring 216.2 x 127.0 x 6.9mm while it weighs 290 grams. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.

Painted in Dark Brown color, the LG Pad IV 8.0 will be available on LG U+ local operator for KRW 352,000 (approx $306).
