Moto X Style, Moto X Play

After launching Moto G 3rd Gen today in India, Motorola also announced two new high-budget smartphones for international market, Moto X Style and Moto X Play. The first will start shipping from September in UK, Latin America, Asia, and Canada while the later will be available from August in regions listed above excluding US. However, the firm are yet to revealed their pricing details.

The Motorola Moto X Style (left-side in above picture) features a 5.7-inch TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen display with a QHD (1440×2560 pixels) resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is driven by a 64-bit hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with a clock speed of 1.8GHz, slammed with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in three storage variants, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB, all of which are expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

A 21-megapixel autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture, toned dual-LED flash is placed at the rear while it is equipped with a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens camera with f/2.0 aperture at the front for selfie. The rear camera support 4K video recording. The Moto X Style runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and offers 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi 802.11ac (Dual Band), 2G, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, and GLONASS as connectivity options. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging technology. Free Motorola TurboPower 25 charger is included in the package.

On the other hand, the Moto X Play (right side in above picture) features a lower 5.5-inch IPS touchscreen display with full-HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (4-core 1.7GHz + 4-core 1.1GHz) processor, coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The device runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS just like X Style but comes in two storage variants, 16GB and 32GB, with external storage support (up to 128GB).

There is a 21-megapixel autofocus camera with toned dual-LED flash at the rear which support full-HD (1080p) video recording, while a 5-megapixel camera is placed at the front. Connectivity options included are 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 2G, and GPS/A-GPS. It is backed by a 3630mAh battery with fast charging. Free TurboPower charger 25 is also included.

The Moto X Play comes in White and Black and colors.
