New LG Smartphone Launched on Verizon in the U.S for $115

LG Zone 4

LG has introduced a new entry-level smartphone exclusively on Verizon Wireless in the United States. The Zone 4 as called, is made to cater for those who desire basic smartphone function and nothing else considering its specifications. It runs a decent Android OS, Android 7.1.2, and also supports 4G VoLTE despite its $114.99 price tag.

The display is 5-inch HD (1280×720), which is the norm at this price point. Powering the phone on the inside is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Mobile Platform running at a speed of 1.4GHz, coupled with Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Users will also get free 16GB of internal storage to store their apps and multimedia files. If the storage is not enough, there is a MicroSD slot that can accommodate an additional storage.

In photography, the LG’s new Zone 4 is equipped with an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with a LED flash, while a 5-megapixel camera is at the front for selfie shooting and video-calling. The usual range of connectivity including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS are onboard, while the phone is backed by a 2500mAh battery.

The Zone 4 is available in Moroccan Blue color only and is already on sale in the U.S.
