Nokia 150

HMD Global, a Finnish-based company acquired exclusive licence to sell Nokia-branded phones and smartphones this year. Now, the company today has introduced two new feature phones wearing Nokia brand, the Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 Dual SIM. Both device are identical and comes with same specifications, however, the first support a single SIM while the later will readily accept two SIMs at once, both lacking internet connectivity.

The phones outer shell are made of plastic painted in White and Black colors. Technically, the Nokia 150 and 150 Dual SIM features 2.4-inch non-touch display with QVGA (320×240) resolution, and runs Nokia Series 30+ operating system. The device comes with an unspecified built-in storage (in Megabytes) and there is external MicroSD expansion slot onboard for expandable storage, with support of up to 32GB.

Each of the phone sports a VGA (0.3-megapixel) rear camera with LED flash; is pre-loaded with MP3 player and FM radio, and is backed by a 1020mAh removable battery. In terms of connectivity, the Nokia 150 offers Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB. The battery is claimed to last up to 31 days on the single SIM variant and up to 25 days on the dual SIM variant.

For fun, the Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 Dual are pre-installed with Snake Xenzia, a popular classic game of a snake that is lead in search of foods and then grows longer and then…dies.

The new Nokia feature phones will be available globally from early next year with a starting price of US$26.

These are not the first feature phones to wear Nokia brand this year. In September, Microsoft introduced Nokia 216 Dual SIM in India which comes with dual cameras, dual LED flash, and offers GPRS/EDGE internet access.
