Microsoft started rolling out Windows 10 upgrade in late July which is yet to fully reached two-third of Windows devices, but it is suprising that Chinese phone manufacturers are already blending in with the new operating system. Among these firms is Chuwi, best known for its dual boot convertible tablet. Its newly introduced flagship device called Hi8 is one of those things you never see coming, very attractive, good specifications, yet at a very ridiculous price.

The Chuwi Hi8 runs the new Windows 10 out-of-the-box and also has Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed with Google Play Store baked-in, giving users access to a wide variety of applications. It comes with an 8-inch IPS capacitive touch-sensitive multi-touch display with WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixel) resolution, enhanced with MagicColor Panel. Diving in, the device is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3736F processor with a clock speed of 2.16GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM and Intel HD Graphics (Gen 7). The Chuwi Hi8 also has 3D Graphics accelerator for best game rendering and smoother experience during gameplay.

A 32GB of storage is placed inside, which can be further expanded via a MicroSD card (up to 64GB). The Chuwi Hi8 is equipped with dual camera, a 2-megapixel at the rear and an 0.3-megapixel at the front. In connectivity compartment, you will be getting Bluetooth, Wifi and USB with OTG. A 4,000mAh battery turn it on.
