Philips I908 Front Side

After having launched its Fingerprint enabled smartphone with Quad-HD display in China last week, the i966 Aurora, Philips has again listed a new smartphone on their website dubbed as I908. However, pricing and availability details is not mentioned but the phone may as well kick off in coming days.


According to the listing, the Philips I908 features a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. It support dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core processor (unknown chipset but probably MediaTek), clocked at 1.7GHz along with 2GB of RAM.

On the rear side is a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with CMOS sensor and LED flash, while it also touts a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfie shots. It comes with 16GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

On the connectivity front, the Philips I908 support Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, GPS/A-GPS and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,000mAh, rated to deliver up to 1,080 hours of standby.
