Vivo has been replicating its phones with little to no changes to boost sales since the beginning of The year. Another device that the company has just added to its mobile portfolio is Z5—a midranger that features a 6.38-inch Full HD+ Waterdrop AMOLED display and that is powered by a Snapdragon 712 10nm chipset.

The phone comes in different varieties depending on buyers preference; the cheapest, priced at CN¥ 1598 (US$232), have 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, while the high-end version with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs CN¥ 2298 (US$333). Inbetween these sitted the 6GB/128GB and 6GB/256GB versions, priced at CN¥ 1898 (US$275) and CN¥ 1998 (US$290) respectively.

Triple camera is located on the Vivo Z5 rear, the primary has a 48MP (f/1.8) sensor, the secondary an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra wide-angle lens, while the tertiary is a 2MP (f/2.4) depth camera. Pinned to the front is a 32MP selfie shooter. The phone runs FunTouch OS 9.1 based on Android 9.0 Pie, has dual SIM slot, and is powered by a 4500mAh battery with fast charging supports. An in-display fingerprint sensor provides the security.
