Withings, the French technology firm known for its smart health apps and products, has announced Steel HR, the company’s latest smartwatch at IFA in Berlin. The Steel HR can track daily activities such as walk, run, step taken, sleep, swim, as well as calorie burnt. It automatically activate when you run, though the tracking can be enable manually. When paired with a supported smartphone via Bluetooth, the watch alert users of incoming text messages, missed calls and emails, and vibrating alarm features onboard help users keep up and not miss out on important schedules. All data, including heart rate behavior readings, can be view directly on paired smartphone as well.
