The not-so-popular (in mobile sector) Korea company Fujitsu has launched a new high-end Android smartphone called Arrows NX F-04G which brings rare functionality along. The phone was first announced in May and will be exclusively available on NIT Docomo, however, the specific price of the device is not known.
What makes Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G worth mentioning is iris recognition technology it brings along named Passport. The Iris Passport replaces the use of password, passcode and other patterns, making it easier for users to lock and unlock their phone by just glaring at the screen which shouldn’t take more than 0.6 second as claimed by the firm. Also, it can be use for ID confirmation and even for payment services. What makes Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G iris recognition more unique is it can identify and differentiate between the eyes of twins.
Specifications onboard are not bad as well. The Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G is wrapped in a metallic body, shaped with laser technology. It features a 5.2-inch display with a full-HD resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. Th device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor slammed with 3GB of RAM.
The smartphone bears a 21-megapixel camera with LED flash at the rear and houses a front-facing camera as well. It includes a 32GB of built-in storage and packs a 3120mAh battery. Connectivity options provided with Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G are 4G LTE, Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, 3G HSPA+, 2G, and NFC.
