The MWC 2019 sees to the ushering in of 5G-capable smartphones from world’s leading technology companies globally, among these companies is ZTE, who unexpectedly debut its first 5G smartphone at the event, the Axon 10 Pro 5G.
The Axon 10 Pro 5G embraces Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X50 5G modem just like others have done this year (except Huawei) to cater for its 5G needs, while the overall system is powered by the Snapdragon 855 7nm chipset.

The phone comes with a 6.47-inch Full HD+ (2340×1080) AMOLED display with a Waterdrop notch, this accommodates a 20-megapixel selfie camera. There is a 6GB of RAM onboard coupled with 128GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via MicroSD expansion slot up to 512GB.
Since the Axon 10 Pro 5G is meant to be a flagship, it housed a flagship triple camera at the back – the main camera uses Samsung’s 48MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 0.8µm pixel size, PDAF, and OIS; the secondary camera uses 20MP ultra wide sensor (125°), while the third is an 8MP telephoto lens.
Security is provided by an in-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of connectivity, the device offer Bluetooth 5 LE, WiFi 802.11ax (dual band), Dual 4G VoLTE, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C. It runs Android 9.0 Pie, supports dedicated dual SIM, while it drawn its power from a 4000mAh battery with support for fast charging and wireless charging.
The Axon 10 Pro 5G will arrive to Europe and China through partnered mobile network providers in the regions, including Elisa, China Unicom, and Hutchison Drei in the first half of 2019. No details on its pricing.*NEW UPDATE
