Samsung has just introduced a new Android tablet in India with 4G LTE and voice-calling capabilities dubbed Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2018). The entry-level tablet as its naming implies, features a 7.0-inch capacitive touchscreen with WXGA (1280×800) pixel resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. The exact version of Android OS it runs, however, is not revealed.
The device as already mentioned comes with a single SIM slot where users can insert their SIM cards to make and receiving phone calls and browse the internet with lightning speed, thanks to 4G LTE Cat.4 onboard that can renders up to 150Mbps download speed. It has a physical home button but lacks a fingerprint sensor.

An unspecified quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz powered the device on the side, clubbed with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The internal storage is expandable up to 200GB via MicroSD card. At the rear, the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 sports a 5-megapixel autofocus camera without a LED flash, while it house a 2-megapixel camera at the front for video-calling and selfie.
Apart from 4G LTE, other connectivity options included with the tablet are Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 3G, GPS + GLONASS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery.
The Galaxy Tab A 7.0 will be available online via Amazon India and at other select offline retail outlets across India from Friday January 5th. It comes in Black and White color options and is priced at Rs 9,500 ($142 USD).
