A hospital owner in Bangladesh who was charged with giving a large number of fake negative Coronavirus test results to patients at his two centers has been arrested.
Mohammad Shahid, the owner of Regent medical clinic in Dhaka, Bangladesh, was arrested following a nine-day manhunt over claims he gave counterfeit clearance certificate to patients saying they were coronavirus free without testing them. Police said he was caught while attempting to escape to India in a burqa.

The 42-year-old was one of twelve individuals confined by security officials regarding the trick. His arrest comes seven days after Italy suspended trips to Rome from Bangladesh after a few travelers showing up from Dhaka tested positive for Covid-19.
