Karbonn has silently introduced Quattro L55 HD, the company’s latest budget smartphone that supports both 4G LTE and VoLTE in India. It comes with a 5.5-inch IPS capacitive touch display with HD (1280×720) resolution, and is powered by an unspecified quad-core chipset clocked at 1.3GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It includes a 16GB of built-in storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and offers dual SIM functionality. It packs a 13-megapixel camera at the rear with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front. Other connectivity options included apart from 4G LTE are Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. The Quattro L55 HD measures 152 x 77.2 x 8.9mm and is backed by a 2700mAh battery. Karbonn claims the battery can render up to 9 hours of talk time and 130 hours of standby time.
Presently, there is no word on its pricing and availability, but we expect it to kick-off with full force before this July ends.
