ZTE Small Fresh 4 debuts with 5.2″ 1080p display, fingerprint sensor, LTE

ZTE has introduced a new budget smartphone in China called Small Fresh 4, a succesor to the company’s Small Fresh 3 that was released last year. Wrapped in a full metal casing that comes painted in Gold, Rose Gold and Silver colours, the device features a 5.2-inch 2.5D curved glass display flaunting a brilliant resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and 424ppi pixel density.

It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. The phone packs a 16GB of built-in storage with support of MicroSD expansion slot, and offers dual-SIM functionality with dual Standby. Android 6.0 Marshmallow topped with MiFavour 3.5 UI governs all software activities, and there is a fingerprint sensor at the back for smart security. In photography, it harbours a 13-megapixel camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and twin-tone LED flash, capable of recording full-HD (1080p) videos, while a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens camera resides at the front.

Connectivity options included with the device are Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. It is on by a 2450mAh battery.

The ZTE Small Fresh 4 wears a price tag of CNY 1090 ($163 USD) and will be available from 26th of July. Availability outside China is uncertain.
