The not-so-popular India firm, Smartron, today has launched a new high-end smartphone in India named t.phone. Touting a premium metal unibody, the device features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with full-HD (1920×1080) resolution and pixel density of 401ppi, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with a clock speed of 2.0GHz, slammed with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 430 GPU. 64GB of built-in storage included can be further expanded up 128GB via MicroSD card.
The Smartron t.phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports hybrid dual SIM, enabling the secondary SIM slot to be use as a MicroSD card slot. Unfortunately, the device miss on fingerprint sensor, one of the most desirable feature in a smartphone these days. In photography, it sports a 13-megapixel camera at the rear with Phase Detection Auto Focus and twin-tone LED flash, while it comes equipped with a 4-megapixel selfie camera. Both camera flaunts f/2.0 aperture for best shot in low-light area.

Connectivity options included are 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11ac (dual band), 3G, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, and USB Type-C. It is turn on by a 3000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0.
The Smartron t.phone is priced at Rs 22,999 ($345 USD). It will be available on the company store and selected e-commerce stores starting from next month.
