Lenovo has introduced a new budget smartphone in Philippines named as A7000 Plus, the successor of A7000 that was launched in March. The device will be available starting from Tuesday in the region at a price of PHP 7,999 (US$168). Availability for global markets is not revealed.
In terms of specifications, the Lenovo A7000 Plus comes with a larger display, more powerful processor, upgraded built-in storage and rear camera when compare with A7000. It features a 5.5-inch IPS display with FHD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box.

Diving in, the device is driven by an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor clocked at 1.7GHz alongside with 2GB of RAM. It comes with a 16GB of built-in storage which is further expandable via MicroSD card. The dual-SIM enabled Lenovo A7000 Plus houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, while a 5-megapixel camera is equipped at the front.

Connectivity options onboard are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 4G LTE, 3G (HSPA+), GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, and FM radio. Just like its predecessor, the A7000 Plus also comes with Dolby Atmos for best sound output. A 3,000mAh battery turn it on.
