The Taiwanese tech company, HTC, has made it known that it will be releasing Android 5.1 Lollipop update for One M9 users on Verizon. The firm declares this on its twitter page.

The Update will roll-out via OTA (over-the-air) starting from 21st of August, which is tomorrow. It brings various bug fixes including Stagefright patch, increase in performance, and more. To receive the Android 5.1 Lollipop update, Verizon One M9 users will need to enable auto-update or manually check under Settings -> About Phone.
