Panasonic has added a new budget smartphone to its portfolio in India dubbed as P55 Novo. The device is priced at Rs 10,290 ($161 USD) and will be available before this week ends.
The Panasonic P55 Novo is a new variant and successor of P55 that was launched in November last year. It features a 5.3-inch IPS display with a HD resolution of 720×1280 pixels and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box.

Diving in, the smartphone is driven by a 1.4GHz octa-core processor (chipset unspecified) backed with 1GB of RAM. It houses a 13-megapixel autofocus camera at the rear accompanied with triple-LED flash while it bears a secondary 5-megapixel camera at the front.
There is an 8GB of built-in storage onboard which is further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 32GB). On the connectivity front, the Panasonic P55 Novo support 3G (HSPA+), Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. It is fuelled by a 2500mAh battery.
