Huawei has launched a new low-budget smartphone to its Honor category in India named as Honor Bee. The handset will be exclusively available on e-commerce website Flipkart starting from Friday with a price tag of Rs 4,999 ($80 USD, #16,000 NGN).
The Huawei Honor Bee features a 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480×854 pixel. It offers dual-SIM functionality with dual-standby and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box topped with Emotion UI 3.0 Lite.

The device is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor clocked at 1.2GHz alongside with 1GB of RAM. It comes with an 8GB of built-in storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. At the rear, the Honor Bee houses an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with dual-LED flash while it packs a 2-megapixel camera at the front.
Connectivity options included are Wifi, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 1730mAh battery. The Huawei Honor Bee will be available in two different colors White, and Black.
Huawei also unleashed its recent release in India, the Honor 4C. The phone was first launched in China earlier this month. The Honor 4C carries a price tag of Rs 8,999 ($144 USD, #28,700 NGN) and will go on sale on Friday via Flipkart.
