Xiaomi seems on the verge of launching a younger variant of Mi 4 in China dubbed as E4. The smartphone was spotted passing through TENAA for certification last week.
The Mi4 which gains ground in both China and India last year comes with a 3GB of RAM but the new E4 if the leaks are true will sports a 2GB RAM. To cut it short, Xiaomi E4 is a cheaper variant of Mi4. The Mi4 was an upgraded version of Mi3 that was debuted in July last year.

As revealed, the new device sports identical specifications with Mi4 besides the RAM capacity. It will features a 5-inch full-HD (1080p) display and packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. A 13-megapixel camera will hold the upper rear area while an 8-megapixel camera be at the front. Battery capacity and Android OS version it will be running still remains unknown.
The Xiaomi E4 will be available in three versions with LTE support. China top network carriers; China Unicom, China Telecom, and China Mobile will exclusively host the device while availability outside China is not certain.
Mi3 and Mi4 makes it to India market, E4 may do.
