Indian users can now get to feel the new metal-clad Samsung Galaxy A7 budget smartphone starting from Monday at Rs 30,499 (approximately $490 USD, #93,000 NGN). It can be purchase from the firm online store.
The Galaxy A7 with the model name of SM-A700FZWG runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a full HD (1080p) resolution. Unlike some models that are powered by Exynos chipsets, the SM-A700FZWG is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes with a 16GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 64GB via MicroSD card. At the rear is a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, while it is also equipped with a 5-megapixel selfie enabled front camera.
The Galaxy A7 offered 4G LTE Cat.4 that can renders a download speed of up to 150Mbps. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 3G, NFC, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, USB 2.0, and GLONASS. It is fuelled by a 2600mAh battery. The smartphone is available three different colours Gold, White, and Black.
