After much leak and rumours, Huawei has finally unwrapped its new flagship smartphone in China, the Honor 6 Plus. We spotted this phone last month when it was passing through TENAA and we immediately fell in love with it, Huawei has just experiment with something new that we will be seeing in later release.
The Honor 6 Plus is an upgraded version of Honor 6 which was launched in in early September, it comes in two variants both supporting dual-SIM with different price tag, the first which is priced at CNY 1,999 (Roughly $320 USD, NGN 57,600) support 4G LTE on one SIM and 2G on other while the second which is priced at CNY 2,499 (Roughly $410 USD, NGN 74,000) support 4G LTE on both sim cards. The highlight of device is its dual 8-megapixel rear camera claims to possess “symmetrical dual camera technology” by the firm and capable of capturing up to 13-pixel resolution images and only takes 0.1 seconds to autofocus an object. Now you know why we fell in love with it in the first place.
Huawei Honor 6 Plus Specifications
The Honor 6 Plus features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080*1920 pixels) IPS display and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box topped with the firm Emotion 3.0 UI. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 925 processor coupled with Mali T628 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
The smartphone packs a 32GB built-in storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card and sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for best selfie shot. On the connectivity front, the Huawei Honor 6 Plus support Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 3600mAh battery.
