Panasonic has unveils a new mid-budget Android smartphone under its Eluga series dubbed as Eluga S. The phone was launched by the firm on Wednesday and will be available starting from third week of November in India at Rs 11,190 (Roughly $182 US Dollars, NGN 31,000 Nigerian Nairas). The highlight of the Eluga S is its 5-megapixel selfie-focus front camera, integrated with the company new Blink Play features that auto initiate countdown when users blink.

The Panasonic Eluga S features a 5-inch IPS display with a HD resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It support dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box, which makes it in league with other KitKat based Eluga series like Eluga A and Eluga U.
It is powered by an octa-core processor (unspecified), clocked at 1.4GHz along with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 8GB built-in storage that is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card. On the rear is an 8-megapixel autofocus shooter with LED flash that is capable of recording full-HD (1080p) videos.
Connectivity options included with the Panasonic Eluga S are Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS/A-GPS and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2,100mAh battery.
The Panasonic Eluga S will be available in two colour variants – Black and White.
