Panasonic has unveiled a new low-budget Android smartphone in India dubbed as P55, the phone is priced at Rs 10,290 (Roughly $170 , NGN 28,000) and will be available in coming days.

The dual-SIM enabled P55 features a 5.5-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 720×1280 pixel and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an unspecified 1.2GHz quad-core processor, slammed with 1GB of RAM. It comes with an 8GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.
The P55 houses an 8-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options includes Bluetooth, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Micro-US. It is backed by a 2,500mAh Li-ion battery.
Earlier this week, the firm launched T9 which features a 3.5-inch HVGA display and runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
