The much awaited phone has finally been unveiled, HTC has announced its new Windows variant of the HTC One (M8) called HTC One (M8) for Windows. The smartphone is exclusively launch for the U.S network carrier Verizon Wireless, at a price tag of $99 with 2-yrs contract, and $599 without contract.
The new HTC One (M8) for Windows looks much like the Android version when compared side by side and comes with the same features and specs, while the later runs Windows Phone 8.1 the former runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
The HTC One (M8) for Windows features a 5-inch display with a screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. As mentioned earlier, it runs Windows Phone 8.1 out-of-the-box. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, alongside with 2GB of RAM.

The HTC One (M8) Windows phone comes in two storage variants – 16GB and 32GB, both of which can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD. It sports a 4-ultrapixel camera with LED flash, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. On the connectivity side, the One (M8) for Windows comes with Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11ac, 3G, GPS, NFC, Infrared, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2600mAh non-removable battery.
