Sony has unveiled its new budget smartphone, the Xperia C3. The smartphone will come in two variants, the Xperia C3 Dual and Xperia C3. Both have the same specifications, but the Xperia C3 Dual offers dual SIM functionality while the other does not.
The Xperia C3 features a 5.5-inch Triluminos display with a screen resolution of 720×1280 pixel, packed with Sony Bravia Engine 2. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.
The Xperia C3 by Sony is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, slammed with 1GB of RAM. It comes with an 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. There’s an 8-megapixel rear camera onboard, packed with features like Panorama, HDR, Backlit Mode, Movie Creator, Social Live, Portrait Retouch, Superior Auto, and Timeshift Burst.

It also comes with a 5-megapixel front facing camera that was specially made for selfie shot. Connectivity options with the Xperia C3 are Bluetooth v4.0, WiFi with Hotspot, 4G LTE, GPS and USB. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 1,071 hours of standby time.
The Sony Xperia C3 will be available globally starting from August 2014, and will comes in three colour variants – White, Black, and Mint.
