OPPO has officially launched F7, the company’s latest mid flagship device in the “F series” and the successor of F5 that was debuted last year. It has a metal body that is 7.8mm thin and weighs 158 grams. The phone comes with a 6.23-inch 19:9 display with a notch at top, flaunting a pixel resolution of 2280×1080, and is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P20 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage coupled along.
There is a special model of the smartphone announced by OPPO called F7 Sunrise Red which has a unique glass body that shimmer and reflects different colors when view from different angles. This special model comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage unlike the standard model. Also, there is another model dubbed F7 Diamond Black which has a multi-layer metal body design with a unique glass back that has triangle-cut patterns that reflects and glow bright and dark shades when view from different angles in the presence of light. This also have 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Another notable feature of the F7 is its camera. It sports a 16MP rear-facing camera with f/1.8 aperture, but this is not as interesting as the front camera which has a 25MP sensor with Sony IMX576 sensor and f/2.0 aperture. These cameras are made smarter with AI. There is AI Beauty 2.0 for smart beautification when taking selfie that can scan and analyze 296 facial recognition points to offer various beauty effects. Moreover, the front shooter also supports face unlock which comes handy in tightening security in addition to its rear fingerprint reader.
The phone has a dedicated dual SIM slot both of which supports 4G VoLTE and is backed by a 3400mAh battery. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo OS.

The OPPO F7 is painted in Moonlight Silver and Solar Red colors and is priced at Rs 21,990 ($330). The Sunlight Red and Diamond Black edition are priced at Rs 26,990 ($404). The phone will be available for purchase at online and offline stores across India from April 9.
