HTC has finally debuts its new U11 EYEs mid-flagship smartphone after sevaral leaks and rumors that clouded the web in the past few weeks. The Taiwanese firm took the wraps off the new device earlier today in Taiwan where it revealed its official specs and pricing details.
The U11 EYEs specifications differs from the former U11 that was released last year but it has similar body design as U11+. First of all, the most notable feature that distinguish it from the rest of the U11 family (U11, U11+ and U11 Life) is in photography. This comes with not just one but two front cameras, making it the first HTC smartphone to boasts of dual front-facing camera, which will enable users to apply bokeh to their selfie shot that can be preview in real-time.

The new HTC phone inherited the 18:9 FullScreen display from U11+ but this has a lower Full HD+ (2160×1080) resolution and not QHD+. The U11 EYEs runs Google’s Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box with the company’s proprietary Sense UI on top. It is water and dust resistant certified with IP67 and is backed by a 3930mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.
