D’banj Education

Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo known as D’banj attended Nigerian Military School at age eleven, however, he did not like the military setting, so he had to change the school after three years and went to the Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Ibara, Abeokuta.

He later further to study mechanical engineering at the Lagos State University but couldn’t continue because of some strike, so he decided to drop out.

Music Career

D’banj came into fame in 2012 when he signed a record deal with Mavin Records which is headed by Don Jazzy.

D’banj was acquainted with the harmonica by his late more established sibling, Femi Oyebanjo, who kicked the bucket in a plane accident at age seventeen.

With D’banj’s affection for music being more prominent than his folks’ military goals, he battled for his folks’ endorsement; this can be best heard through a collection track, All Da Way from his presentation album.
