The popular Nigeria singer 2Baba whose real name is Innocent Ujah Idibia was born in Jos, He is from the Idoma ethnic group in the southern part of Benue State, in central Nigeria.

Innocent Ujah Idibia known as 2baba attended Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School in Makurdi and furthered his education at the Institute of Management & Technology, Enugu (IMT), where he did his preliminary National Diploma course in business administration and management.
Music Career
He moved to Lagos and began performing with rapper Blackface Naija. He met BlackFace during his optional training in Benue. With Blackface (Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo) and with artist Faze (Chibuzor Oji), he proceeded to shape the threesome band Plantashun Boiz.
Plantashun Boiz delivered two effective collections: Body and Soul (2000) and Sold Out (2003)under Nelson Brown’s claimed Label (Dove Records) prior to disbanding in 2004.
