A new ZTE smartphone with the name Tempo X has been released in the U.S exclusively on network carrier, Boost Mobile. The pocket-friendly device is up for grab for customers on the said carrier for $79.99 off-contract.
As could be expected on an $80 smartphone, the Tempo X features a 5-inch capacitive touch display with a FWVGA resolution of 854×480 pixel. Under the hood it is powered by Qualcomm lowest processor, Snapdragon 210 Mobile Platform, running at a speed of 1.1GHz, paired with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 304 GPU. An user upgradeable 8GB of storage resides inside with supports of up to 128GB of additional storage.

In optics, there is a 5-megapixel camera equipped at the back with a single LED flash placed besides it for lighting, capable of recording 720p video, while a 2-megapixel camera resides at the front for video calling and selfie. The Tempo X boots Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out-of-the-box and offers 4G LTE Cat.4 (up to 150Mbps downspeed), WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS as connectivity options. It is backed by a 2200mAh battery.
