Nuno Espirito Santo’s 12th placed Wolves are set to welcome Marcos Biesla’s 11th placed Leeds to the Molineux today for the only premier league clash this Friday, by 9pm.
Leeds are two points above Wolves with a game in hand over Wolves and would love to keep the distance that way at the end of today’s game.
Wolves on the other hand keep on having a somewhat mediocre season, not really going forward or downward. But it is worthy to note that, Wolves have lost only one game in their last five premier league games – winning two and drawing two.

Leeds though have had three victories in their last five premier league games, making them a strong contender to win this one.
You should expect fluid free-flowing football from Marcos Bielsa’s Leeds, while Wolves who are adept at counter-attacking football might also not sit deep for this one too.
Goals are to be expected from this one, as Leeds not only play to entertain but they also score goals. In their past five matches in all competitions, Marcos Biesla’s men have scored 10 goals.
Though, their defence appears to not be as good as attack as they have conceded 8 goals within that same time.
Leeds have won two of their last three away league games against Wolves (L1), more than they had in their previous 16 visits to Molineux (W1 D5 L10). However, they lost their last such game 1-4 in November 2017.
Leeds striker, Patrick Bamford, has also been in hot form, especially on Fridays. The youngster has scored six goals in five appearances for Leeds in Friday matches (1.20 per game on average); of players to play at least five games on a specific day of the week for Leeds, only Jermaine Beckford on Mondays (9 in 8 games, 1.13) has also averaged more than a goal per game on a day of the week for the club.
Wolves who have a more superior record when it comes to head to head between the two teams, have won each of their last four league games against Leeds, last having a longer league winning run against the Whites between February 1958 and April 1960(5).
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men are looking to win back-to-back league matches for the first time since October, with the second game in that run coming at Elland Road against Leeds.
This surely promises to be an entertaining game that will be saddled with goals, but to mention a winner is scary. It could be a draw but the best bet bet would be both teams scoring.
