Sadio Mane is one of the current favorite players at Liverpool, and the fans admire him so much, on and off the pitch, but the opposite is what can be said of his Senegalese brother, El Hadji Diouf, who had a terrific spell at Anfield and the fans didn’t like him, even with his recent clash with club legend Steven Gerrard, after Gerrard called Diouf out that he didn’t have Liverpool at heart and Diouf was just interested about himself alone during his time at Liverpool.
Mane labeled Diouf as his footballing idol, pointing to his efforts in Senegal’s famous World Cup run in 2002.
He posted the picture of him and Diouf to his Instagram, along with the caption:

“With the best player in the history of our dear country”. A number of Liverpool supporters have since commented on the picture, with many of their comments negatives and blasting Diouf.
These are a few of the comments: “One of the best LFC signings Vs Literally the worst LFC signing,” “This guy was one of the most overhyped and worst buys of Liverpool FC history”. another one said, “I’m a huge Liverpool fan, the worst signing for me was Diouf, geezer had a bad attitude on and off the pitch, loved the day he left Anfield,”
