After lots of leaks and ear deafening rumors, Xiaomi today has pull the wraps off its new Redmi smartphone in China, Redmi Note 5A. The company is offering the device in two flavors, the first having entry-level specs, while the high-end version comes with faster processor, high megapixel camera, and up to 4GB of RAM.
Both versions features 5.5-inch HD display, 13-megapixel rear cameras, and are backed by 3080mAh batteries. The low-end version however, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 chipset, sports a 5MP front camera and comes with only 2GB of RAM, while the high-end version packs an octa-core Snapdragon 435 chipset and sports a 16-megapixel front camera.

The Redmi Note 5A runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS buttered MIUI 9 and has a dedicated dual SIM slot and a MicroSD slot. The high-end version has a fingerprint sensor on the back while the low-end version does not.
