ZTE Blade Spark with Android 7.1, 3140mAh Battery Launched in U.S for $99

A new ZTE smartphone with the name Blade Spark, has been launched exclusively in the United States through the known network carrier AT&T for prepaid customers. The phone is up for grab on the said carrier website and select AT&T stores across the region for $99 without contract.

Specwise, the Blade Spark features a 5.5-inch IPS display with HD (1280×720) resolution, and there is Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top that serves as a protection against scratch. Diving in, under the hood is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor running at a speed of 1.4GHz, slammed with 2GB of RAM while Adreno 508 handle all graphics. There is a 16GB of storage inside for offline hosting of files, apps and data, and right outside is a MicroSD slot to further expand the limited storage with support of up to 128GB additional storage capacity.

The new Blade Spark by ZTE runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back for smart security. In photography, it sports a 13-megapixel camera at the back with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and LED flash, capable of recording 1080p video, while it houses a 5-megapixel camera at the front for selfie.

Connectivity options included with the smartphone are Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi with Hotspot, 4G LTE Cat.4, 3G, 2G, GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB. It measures 155.9×77.7×9.6mm, weighs 173.5 grams, and is backed by a 3,140mAh battery that can deliver up to 17 hours of talk time and 10 days of standby time.
