PLASU Admission Requirements 2022

Let me begin with this.

Before you can even start thinking of applying to study in PLASU, you must meet certain requirements.

In fact, the first of these requirements is that you meet PLASU minimum JAMB cut off mark for 2022.

So, what’s PLASU cut off mark for 2022?

170.

That’s the minimum score you must have in your JAMB result before you can apply for PLASU Post UTME 2022/2023.

If you scored below 170 already, then I will advise you to go and change your course right now.

If you scored at least 170 in your JAMB result, then read on.

Now, that’s not the only requirement you must meet, there are other requirements you must meet. See them below:

1. You must have chosen Plateau State University, Bokkos as your “First Choice” and scored 170 and above in the 2020 JAMB UTME.
2. Direct entry candidates must also choose Plateau State University, Bokkos as their “First Choice” in the 2020 JAMB Direct Entry (DE) application and have any of the following qualifications: Degrees, Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma, (with minimum of Lower Credit), and IJMB (with minimum of 7 points).

Is PLASU Post UTME Form 2022/2023 Out?

As at the time of writing this post, the Plateau State University (PLASU) Post UTME form for 2022 admission screening exercise is not out yet.

However, it is expected that the form will come out very soon. I will update this post immediately it is announced by the school management.

The exact date for the Post UTME registration is unknown for now.

Normally, PLASU Post UTME form will come out before the end of August, but it might even be earlier/later this year.

How Much Is PLASU Admission Form 2022/2023

The Plateau State University (PLASU) admission form costs just Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only. There will also be some addition ban charges.

If you registered for JAMB without uploading your O’level result, you can apply for PLASU admission form 2022.

PLASU Direct Entry Form 2022/2023

This part is only for those who intend to apply through JAMB direct entry.

If you are not applying for PLASU direct entry admission form, move to the part  (how to apply for PLASU Post UTME).

Direct entry candidates must also choose Plateau State University, Bokkos as their “First Choice” in the 2022 JAMB Direct Entry (DE) application and have any of the following qualifications: Degrees, Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma, (with minimum of Lower Credit), and IJMB (with minimum of 7 points).

For now, PLASU direct entry admission form is not out yet too.

How To Apply For PLASU Post UTME Form 2022/23

1. Visit the University website: www.plasu.edu.ng
2. Click 2022/2023 POST UTME and you will be taken to www.fees.plasu.edu.ng where you will make payment.
3. Input your JAMB registration number and click GO
4. Click on make payment now (for those who want to make payment through Remita). For cash payment, click print to obtain a copy of your RRR number and visit the nearest bank to make payment.
5. Pay a non-refundable screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only through Remita (exclusive of bank charges).
6. After payment visit utme.plasu.edu.ng to continue with registration
7. Sign-in using your JAMB Registration number and RRR number
8. On the registration page, enter five relevant O’ Level subjects (as in JAMB brochure requirements for PLASU) and their grades
9. Click on submit and print your registration slip
10. You will receive an SMS communication on the outcome of the screening through the phone number provided

NOTE: You can always requery your payment attempt in case you have been debited and network fails while completing your payment. Enter your JAMB registration number, click “Get details”, then requery your unsuccessful payment attempt as shown below

BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS/CYBER CRIME

Candidates and indeed members of the public should beware of fraudsters who may be fronting as agents of the University to dupe innocent and unsuspecting candidates and members of the general public under the pretence of offering admission to them.

The University wishes to make it abundantly clear that admission into the University is done directly by the University and JAMB and NOT through any third party or agent, please.

PLASU Post UTME Date 2022/2023

The date for PLASU Post UTME screening will be in August, 2022.

Your examination date, venue and time will be shown to you on the admission portal after the screening in due time.

How To Pass PLASU Post UTME 2022

It is not difficult to pass PLASU Post UTME.

Like many students will tell you, it is not hard but technical.

Usually, the Post UTME standard is not different from JAMB standard but some schools like PLASU, UNIBEN, OOU, UI  and others are known for setting standard questions (if you know what I mean).

My extra advice for you: Try to get in contact with students in PLASU and ask them questions about the Post UTME including the subjects, number of questions, time allowed, the syllabus (what the examination looks like) and so on.
