Huawei has silently made another addition to its MediaPad tablet line-up called MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0, a smaller variant of MediaPad M3 Lite 10 that was launched earlier this month. As part of its naming suggests, it features an 8-inch IPS multi-touch display with WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio, rounding up the pixel density to 232ppi.
Underneath its slim metal body of 7.5mm thickness is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 64-bit chipset clocked at 1.4GHz, coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. The tablet is offered in two versions, 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, both further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 128GB).

The MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 boots Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box layed on top with Emotion UI 5.1. It also has a fingerprint sensor embedded beneath the physical home button located at the front. In optics, it comes equipped with dual 8-megapixel cameras, one located at the front and the other at the back, both of which lacks LED flash.
For quality sound, the tablet is loaded with two Harman Kardon speakers. Huawei is making the device available in WiFi-only and LTE variants. Connectivity options included are 4G LTE (optional), WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS + GLONASS, and USB OTG. It is backed by a 4800mAh battery.
No details on its pricing and availability yet.
