OPPO has just launched A77, its latest selfie-focus smartphone in the “A” line-up in Taiwan. The phone sports a 16-megapixel front camera with 1/3″ sensor and f/2.0 aperture for superb selfie capture, even in low light. With the company’s proprietary Beauty 4.0 imbibe within the software elements of the camera, users can redefined, tweak and add different filters and effects before the photo is taking. There is also an option to take pictures in Portrait Mode.

Closely following is a 13-megapixel camera which is located at the back, boasting Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and f/2.2 aperture. There are dual-tone LED flash placed besides it for lightening up dark scenes. The A77 is clad in a metal body arraigned in Gold and Rose Gold colors.
Specwise, it features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1920×1080) In-Cell touch display which OPPO is claiming as one of its kind. A 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor clocked at 1.5GHz powered it on the inside, clubbed with Mali-T860 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It includes a 64GB of inbuilt storage with external storage support. There is a fingerprint sensor embedded beneath the home button for smart security.
Driving all the softwares is Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and there is hybrid dual SIM slots onboard to accommodates two SIMs at a time or a SIM and a MicroSD card. Connectivity options included are 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, 3G, 2G, and GPS. It is backed by a 3,200mAh battery.
Priced at TWD 10,990 ($365 USD), the smartphone will be up for pre-orders in Taiwan from Friday 19th of May and will set sail on May 26. Other regions may soon follow.
