At 2016 MWC event that just ended this week, Allview, an European-based phone manufacturing company released a new budget phablet under it Energy series named P8 Energy PRO.

Wrapped in a gorgeous metal unibody, the device features a 6-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) AMOLED display with 2.5D front glass panel, flaunting a pixel density of 367ppi. It is powered by an octa-core processor (unspecified) clocked at 1.3GHz, paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

The P8 Energy PRO runs an unknown Android operating system version (yet to be revealed) and offers dual SIM functionality with support of 4G LTE (FDD and TDD) on both SIMs. A fingerprint sensor located beneath the physical home button pave way for easy lock and unlock system of the device, as well as securing of folders and user data. In photograpy, the phablet sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, and 4X Zoom, accompanied with a LED flash, while it bears a 5-megapixel camera at the front for taking selfie.

Connectivity options included besides 4G LTE are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, and USB with OTG. It is backed by a gigantic 5,020mAh battery. According to Allview, the battery can render up to 48 hours during heavy use and 72 hours during light use. In addition, when smart energy saving technology onboard is activated, the device can deliver up to 225 hours of use in Extreme Mode.

Charging the battery is quite easy with fast charging feature included. The phone can charge up to 10% in just ten minutes and last for 22.5 hours when Extreme Mode is activated, claimed the company. Other features included are recycle bin, kids section, privacy gallery, and visitor dedicated profile. The Allview P8 Energy PRO will be available in Gold and Silver colors when it go on sale sometime in April. No word on pricing.
