The Chinese phone maker Amoi has launched a new mid-budget Android smartphone dubbed as A955T. The phone is priced at CNY 899 (roughly $147 US Dollars, NGN 24,200 Nigerian Nairas) and will be available starting from Monday. However, the smartphone will only pick up China Mobile’s 3G Network, 3G network outside China is not guaranteed.

The Amoi A955T features a 5.5-inch full-HD OGS IPS display. It offers dual-SIM functionality and runs the dated Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean out-of-the-box. The smartphone is powered by a hexa-core MediaTek MT6591 processor, clocked at 1.5GHz along with 2GB of RAM.
On the rear is an 8-megapixel autofocus camera, while it also houses a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. There’s 8GB built-in storage onboard that is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD.
On the connectivity front, the Amoi A955T support Wifi with Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, GPS/A-GPS, OTG and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2,500mAh battery.
